I have been working with a Japanese paper mill in Tokyo who make eco-friendly organic Abaca paper yarn, which is lightweight yet very strong. Shosenshi paper yarn is eco friendly, breathable and kind to the skin. I have been experimenting with corocheting with it and it is amazing. It is so light and has an amazing air like drape. If you squeeze the skein all you hear is the light sound of crushed leaves.

Shosenshi - Japanese paper yarn is produced from the abaca plant. It is machine washable, quick drying and dyes like a dream!

Weight - approx 800g
Single ply. Approx half a mm thick.

You can also use with knitting machines too, if set correctly.
